Hey Friday connects people with great things and fabulous places through well-thought-out experiences tailored to what people want.
The seed was planted when we realised not everybody has the time or inclination to meticulously plan out their lives. Then in 2020, in response to people wanting to connect when the world contracted, Hey Friday was launched.
We are based in Canberra, Australia, and love showcasing this great city and the surrounding regional areas.
Founder, Sally Wagnon, is deeply curious and on a lifelong journey of discovery, learning about whatever she can and sharing that with those around her. There’s nothing she loves more than gathering a group of people together and seeing the shared energy bring about joy, clarity and playfulness.
Sally’s path to becoming a qualified communications and marketing strategist, mother and entrepreneur, has been anything but linear.
“I am a planner, without a doubt. But I truly believe the magic happens on those side roads we spontaneously take. Like the time I stayed with my friend’s 90-year-old grandmother near Brighton in the UK, registered at a temp agency and landed a job that led me to a Frenchman who is now my husband. It was never part of the plan, but it changed my life for the better.
“My sense of curiosity and fun drives me to seek out new and exciting things and experiences, and being a communicator, it’s within my nature to share. I love bringing people together to share in the experience.”
